SmartKids Preschool Enrichment's Approach to Teaching
We use and develop a thematic-approach to curriculum for ages 3- 5 years old. Research proves that when young children learn through a thematic curriculum they are able to retain what they learn and develop a love for learning through understanding things in their environment.
Our program and teaching methods are highly literacy enriched. We are an advocate for Early Literacy Development. We are concern with the statistics of failure in 3rd grade and the results of lack of literacy skills by elementary which should begin in Preschool, so we take an active approach by developing a Literacy-enriched program.
We offer hands on learning across the Early learning domains which focuses on whole child development in these areas:
Cognitive, Language, Social-Emotional and Physical
Our program is greatly enriched in Early Emergent & Emergent Literacy development.
All classes are taught LIVE with an Experienced Preschool Teacher in small class room sizes which allows us to give each child individual attention, and children to be heard even in a group setting.

We believe that every child is a SMART KID and we encourage, identify and support Gardner's Multiple Intelligences.
Our Philosophy "Every Child is a Smart Kid"
This belief is based on Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences As Teachers we seek to foster, strengthen and develop each child's smart
In order to capture the full range of abilities and talents that people possess, Gardner theorizes that people do not have just an intellectual capacity, but have many kinds of intelligence, such as the following Naturalist Intelligence (“Nature Smart”), Musical Intelligence (“Musical Smart”), Logical-Mathematical Intelligence (Number/Reasoning Smart), Existential Intelligence, Interpersonal Intelligence, (People Smart”), Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence (“Body Smart”), Linguistic Intelligence ("Word Smart), Intrapersonal Intelligence ("Self Smart”), and Spatial Intelligence (“Picture Smart”).
